READ THIS! ...pretty please.

How you take care of your fresh brows greatly affects the healed outcome.

The best results come from the "Do Nothing" method! Keeping your brows extremely DRY for the 10 days post-procedure encourage your brows to retain detail, color, and crisp strokes.

Here's how...

  • 24 HOURS__ (or during your PM routine the day after your appointment) use warm water to gently rinse your brows. Remember not to scrub- just a little wipe with your finger tips. Pat your brows dry! And that’s it for the next 7-10 days!
  • SHOWER__ Keep your face directly out of the shower stream and keep a clean, dry paper towel on hand to pat dry brows if they get splashed. Also keep showers brief, as too much steam can harm brows as well (and it’s good for the environment!)
  • WASHING FACE__ When washing your face, use a washcloth or disposable cleansing wipe to wash only the lower part of your face- eyelashes down. Keep you brows dry.
  • SKINCARE__ Nothing on your forehead and brows. No sunscreen, lotion, skincare, makeup. Nothing. No. Don’t. Stop.
  • WATER__ No heavy exercising or sweating for at least 10 days post procedure. If you want the best color and detail retention, this is crucial. Don’t go swimming, get too much sun, or spend time in saunas.
  • DO NOT use Vaseline, Neosporin or other petroleum based products while healing.
  • DO NOT bleach, tint or dye the tattooed area for one month following the procedure.
  • DO NOT thread, wax, or use hair removal products on the treated area while healing.

  • Day 1 - After your appointment, will appear darker than the final results.
  • Day 2-4 - They become darker and more filled in looking as they form a light protective layer or scab. This is only temporary- don't panic!
  • Day 5-12- The protective layer naturally exfoliates, peels, and flakes away over the course of several days as your skin heals underneath it. The freshly healed skin is white and has a waxy coating, making it appear that the brows are too light. Be patient!
  • Day 10-30 - After 10 days you may return to you normal skincare routine. The brow color will slowly return as new skin develops. If you are healing from your 1st procedure, you may lose lots of pigment! Trust the process and after your 2nd appointment your brows will look great!

  • Exposure to the sun over time can cause fading and discoloration of the pigment.
  • Skincare products such as Glycolic acid, retinols, AHA's, anti-aging lotions and serums should not be applied to microbladed area.
  • Treatments of any kind, including dermaplaning, facials, fillers, laser, peel, etc, may affect color of pigment and longevity brows. Avoid direct contact with microbladed areas.
  • If you are having laser resurfacing or laser hair removal after your tattoo has healed, please inform the laser technician. Continue at your own discretion. Laser procedures may darken, lighten, or discolor the tattooed area.
  • There are no implied or written guarantees if you do not take care of your microblading, and everyone heals a little differently.
